How Office Bots handles the details you give us, in plain English.

Last updated: [the day this page goes live]

Who we are

Office Bots is a trading name of SIGBOT LTD, a company registered in England and Wales with number 16997653, at 5 Willow Green, West End, Woking GU24 9HR, United Kingdom. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office as a data controller, registration number ZC202535. We decide how your details are used (in legal terms, we are the "controller"). For anything about your details, email legal@sigbot.co.

The short version

1. The waitlist

What we collect: your work email, and if you give them, your team's name, its size and which AI agents you use. If one of our own links brought you to the form (for example from the demo office), we note which one. Your answers come to our inbox by email, and your email address goes on our waitlist list at Resend, the service we send emails with.

Why: to tell you when Office Bots opens, invite you to a demo, and learn which teams want it. We send a welcome email, news when something big launches, and at most an occasional update. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Legal basis: your consent, given by joining. You can take it back at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.

How long: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or 12 months after our last email to you, whichever comes first.

2. Demo calls

What we collect: what you give when you book (your name, email, the time and any note you add), and our notes from the call about your team and what it needs. We don't record calls.

Why: to hold the call, follow up afterwards and, if you want one, set up your office.

Legal basis: taking the steps you asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in following up on a call you booked.

How long: 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a customer (then as in section 4).

3. Emails to people we haven't met yet

We sometimes email founders and team leads at software companies who say in public that their team uses AI agents (in posts, talks or job ads), to ask if they'd like to see Office Bots.

What we collect: your name, work email, company, role and where we found you. Only from public sources, only work addresses at companies, never personal addresses.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in telling relevant businesses about Office Bots. We send at most three emails. A reply of any kind stops the rest, and "no" or "stop" ends all contact the same day.

How long: if you don't reply, we delete your details 6 months after our last email. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only your email address on a "do not contact" list, so we never email you again.

4. Your team's office

Once your team has an office, the Office Bots reporter on each person's computer sends the office what their Claude Code sessions are doing (for example your messages to Claude, the commands it runs and which files it touches), only for repos your team has added. It doesn't send your code unless you switch that on, and it blanks out likely passwords and keys first. Sign-in uses your GitHub account. Only people your team lets in can see the office.

What's sent, what's never sent, how long it's kept and how to delete it are all set out in full on our data page, "What data leaves your computer": read it here.

Who controls it: your team decides what goes into its office. If we run the office for you, we act only on your team's instructions: in legal terms, your team is the "controller" and we are its "processor", under the agreement between us. If your team runs the office on its own accounts, we don't receive this data at all. Legal review

Legal basis: the agreement between your team and us.

5. This website and the demo office

No sign-up, no analytics and no tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for a short time to keep the site running and secure. The demo office runs on made-up sample data; it may remember small settings (like your sound choice) in your own browser, which never reach us.

Who helps us

We use a few services to run all this. They only use your details to do that job for us:

Some of them, including GitHub, Vercel, Anthropic, Calendly, Microsoft and Resend, are based in the United States, so your details may be handled there. Where your details go from the UK to a country that UK law doesn't treat as protecting them properly, we use one of the safeguards UK data law allows: the UK–US "data bridge" (the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework) for providers signed up to it, or otherwise the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the UK Addendum to the EU's standard contractual clauses, agreed with that provider. Ask us at legal@sigbot.co and we'll tell you which applies to which provider. Legal review

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, stop or limit using them, or give them to you in a file. You can object to us using them, and you can always stop our emails. Email legal@sigbot.co and we'll answer within a month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), or your own country's data protection authority.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and, if you're on the waitlist or a customer, tell you by email.
