Questions

Short answers. If yours isn't here, book a call and ask us.

Setting up

How do we get started?

Right now we set up each team's office with you on a call. Each repo you add gets a room. Each person then runs one line on their computer and signs in with GitHub in the browser. Self-serve sign-up is coming.

Do we need to run a server?

No. We host the office for you. There's nothing to install on a server and nothing to keep running.

How long does set-up take?

About an hour, on a call with us Guess Connecting one more computer takes a couple of minutes.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Phones get a joystick to walk round, or a simple 2D view of the rooms. The 3D office runs in the browser, so a newer laptop helps.

Team size

How big a team is it for?

Small teams that already work with AI agents: from a founder on their own to a team of about 20 Guess It's for the whole team, not only developers: founders, managers and designers hand out tasks and merge the result with buttons.

Can people outside our company look in?

Yes. You can invite viewers by their GitHub username. They can look round and chat, but can't change anything.

How many repos can we add?

As many as your team works in. Each repo joins a room, and one room can hold several repos. An office has space for six rooms.

Security and data

Do you see our code?

No, not by default. A small script on each computer (the reporter) tells the office what each Claude Code session is doing: your messages to Claude, the commands it runs and which files it touches. It doesn't send your code or file contents unless you switch code sharing on.

What about passwords and keys?

The reporter blanks out anything that looks like a secret (API keys, tokens, passwords) on your computer before anything is sent. It works by spotting known patterns, so don't paste secrets into Claude if you can avoid it.

Which folders does it report from?

Only repos your team has added to the office. Any other folder sends nothing.

Who can see it, and how long is it kept?

Only people your team lets into its office. The detailed timeline of each session is deleted after 45 days. How long session summaries are kept, and which region your data is stored in, aren't decided yet Not set yet

The full list is on our data page.

How do we stop it or delete our data?

Disconnect a computer in the office and its key stops working at once. Take a repo out of the office and its reporting stops. To delete what's stored, ask us and we'll do it; a delete button is coming.

Tools it works with

Why not a free agent visualiser?

Free tools show your agents working. Office Bots is where the team hands them work and ships it: tasks, reviews, merges and the human to-dos, with nothing to host.

Which AI agents does it work with?

Claude Code today. Other agents show up through the commits they push; live support for them is coming.

Do we need GitHub?

Yes. Your code lives on GitHub and you sign in with your GitHub account. Tasks come back as GitHub pull requests.

Does it connect to chat apps?

Discord: a channel for each repo, where a message starts a task and you can merge from the thread. Slack isn't supported yet Guess

Do we keep our own Claude Code?

Yes. Tasks run on your own Claude Code, and developers keep working the way they do today.

Pricing

How much does it cost?

Free for 4 weeks, then $20 per person a month. You pay for people, not agents: run as many Claude Code sessions as you like, and viewers are free. A done-for-you office has a set-up fee on top: ask us. See the pricing page.

Is there a free trial?

Yes: the first 4 weeks are free, and we set the office up with you on a call. You only pay if you keep it after that.

Do we still pay for Claude?

Yes. Your crew run on your own Claude Code plans. Office Bots doesn't resell them.

Can we pay by card?

Not yet. Self-serve sign-up and card payments are coming. For now, join the waitlist or book a call.
